THE THEME OF THE THIRD EDITION OF THE FESTIVAL IS 'THE OTHER SIDE OF CITY’. FOR A DAY, CINECITTA IS ALL ABOUT FILMS, LECTURES, FOOD, MUSIC AND EXHIBITIONS. COME TOO!

We demand healthy food, sustainable energy, innovative agriculture, fast internet, smart mobility and shop online. This changes our cities, as we are well aware of. But we are less aware that our rural areas alter at an even faster pace. Enormous data centers, automated warehouses, robotic farming, greenhouses and energy production transform the countryside into a science fiction landscape. At the same time the amount of people living in rural areas decreases, resulting into a vast landscape of empty farms or even desolate villages.
