CAST x TIAFF INTERMEZZO

We want to eat healthier, generate sustainable energy, better agriculture, faster internet, smarter transport and online shopping. This leaves behind irreversible traces in the landscape: think of the increasing construction of large distribution halls, solar farms and wind farms. What do these developments mean for the perception of the landscape? How does the landscape in Brabant, the Netherlands and the rest of the world change? And what can we do to steer this in the right direction?

Architect Samir Bantal (OMA / AMO) introduces the TIAFF Intermezzo. This is followed by a panel discussion with, among others, Chief Government Architect Floris Alkemade and Erik van Merrienboer. The conversation is moderated by Bureau Europe's Saskia van Stein. Is M. Center for Architecture and Urban Planning Tilburg (CAST)
