Dré Wapenaar

Dré Wapenaar has been working on a steadily expanding oeuvre since the beginning of 1987. His work includes "tent sculptures" in all shapes and forms ranging from Pianopavilions to a cycling bridge pavilion, and from a tent village to his most famous works; the Tree Tents. His work is exhibited in various countries all over the world, from the Boijmans van Beuningen museum, the Chabot museum and the Kunsthal in Rotterdam to the MASSMoCA in North America and the MoMA in New York. In April 2019 the Laumeier Sculpture Park in St. Louis presents a new Tree Tent.
