Enter through the Balcony

The title "Enter through the Balcony" refers to how, in the Soviet era, large buildings were divided into apartments to curb the housing crisis of the post-war years. Through the eyes of owners, city officials, historians, sociologists, urban planners, developers, and architects, the film takes a look at the balcony as an appropriated personalized space. A loving tribute to how life in Ukrainian cities was and hopefully can be again.
